Description
The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ product range offers invaluable tools for people who are exposed to impulse noises. ComTac products products protect against harmful noise while letting in, and even amplifying ambient sounds. Being able to communicate with your surroundings, whilst at the same time being protected from harmful noise levels, is a vital necessity in the military, both for exercises and battle situations. Noise levels are often so high that they can cause immediate and permanent damage to your hearing if adequate protection is not worn.
Help protect your hearing from harmful levels of noise, improve situational awareness and communicate clearly with team members in noisy environments, with 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ XPI Headset. It’s ideal for challenging environments where performance is critical, such as those seen by police or search and rescue teams. Our green headset protects against sound levels up to 27 dB. It can be worn comfortably with other protective equipment and has a level-dependent function to help you stay aware and alert to your surroundings Two-way communication helps you coordinate with your team. Plug and play means it’s ready to work when you are, with no start up time. The fully-independent, dual-earphone system enables talk-through and can connect to an external radio signal. The electronics are completely contained inside the headset housing, so there’s no need for a separate control box, software loads or outside power source, giving you protection that’s safe from power fails. The earplug mode helps you maintain situational awareness when combined with earplugs, and the headset saves power by shutting down automatically when not in use. It has a foldable headband for easy storage and transport. Tested according to the applicable parts of MIL-STD-810G, EMC-MIL-STD-461F.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER BY TO GUARANTEE DELIVERY BY XMAS?
Australia Post's recommended cutoffs for delivery by Christmas are as follows. Any orders made by 3.30pm AET will be shipped that day. Orders after these 3.30pm on these dates still have a chance of arriving by Christmas but are not guaranteed to. We recommend selecting Express Post at checkout to guarantee prompt delivery during this peak period.
Christmas lodgement dates for most Australian states
Australia Post are recommending lodgement by the following dates for delivery by Christmas (*excludes items sent to and from Perth and Darwin):
- Parcel Post: Friday 20 December
- Express Post: Monday 23 December
* Items sent to and from Perth and Darwin with Parcel Post and Express Post need to be lodged by 13 December to be delivered by Christmas.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
All orders placed before 3.30pm AET on a weekday will ship same-day. If you order on the weekend or after 3.30pm on a Friday your order will ship the following Monday.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Australia Post Parcel Post shipping is $7.5, or free for orders valuing $80 or more. Australia Post Express Post shipping is available for $10.5.
For made-to-order and large industrial orders sent via courier, shipping is free.
For some products large letter postage is available for $3.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?
99% of orders are shipped from our warehouse in Marrickville, NSW.
A small selection of industrial products are sent straight from our supplier in Melbourne, Victoria by courier. We'll let you know at checkout if your order is being shipped from Melbourne.
